Mangerton Lake is primarily for fishing and glamping. We kindly request visitors to prioritise a quiet and serene environment conductive to fishing, and refrain from organised group activities that may disrupt the angling/ glamping experience for others.
- Tickets must be purchased from the ticket office (on the left as you come down the track) before fishing/setting up. Anybody fishing without a ticket will be asked to leave.
- Do not approach the cabins or bell tents. We have guest so please respect their privacy.
- A Rod Licence required for fishing
- Two rods maximum per ticket, per person
- All fish must be returned to the water as quickly as possible following capture
- No sacking, keep nets, or retaining of fish is permitted at any time (except match days)
- All anglers must have a landing net and a large padded unhooking mat.
- Keep noise levels to a minimum to maintain a peaceful and enjoyable atmosphere for all anglers and our guest.
- No bent hook rigs and no fixed lead rigs are to be used. All leads must pass freely over any knots
- Barbless hooks only
- No peas, beans or nuts to be used
- No litter whatsoever to be left behind
- Management may refuse access to any person to the site for whatever reason and may require any person to leave the venue at anytime for whatever reason
- No dogs
- No fires or barbecues
- Children under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult
- Mangerton Lake accept no responsibility or liability for any loss or damage to any possessions, you undertake activities at this venue at your own risk
- Checks will be carried out by bailiffs. We hold the right to ask any persons to leave at any time.
